About Elisabeth.

Elisabeth Badenhop is a Spiritual Director based out of Columbus, Ohio. She is a wife to the best guy she knows, a mother to two brilliant and hilarious daughters, and the founder of Rooted Soul Care. She loves traveling, strong coffee, and good stories.

Elisabeth is trained and certified by the Sustainable Faith’s School of Spiritual Direction. She brings 20 years of experience working with people in various ministry contexts. She also brings a trauma-informed perspective to her work and is no stranger to sitting with people in pain. 

Rooted Soul Care was birthed out of Elisabeth’s own dark night of the soul. While working in full-time ministry, she found herself in the middle of a faith crisis; deep disillusionment led to doubt, shame, and isolation. Although that season was profoundly troubling and incredibly painful, it shaped and formed her in a way that she now views as a great mercy.
